SMART Response and Senteos are actually two different products created by SMART. SMART Response is the latest version. Senteos are an older version.

If you would like to know more about how to use these products, the county has two different free workshops for teachers and administrators. Each workshop session is approximately 1 1/2 hours. You can sign up for either on ERO.


Smart Response: Delivering an Assessment with SMART Response Assessment Software Part 1

The session provides the information that teachers and administrators need to set up the Gradebook in the Response software and to create formative or summative assessments in Notebook software by inserting questions, using instant question, importing questions and using the SMART Response pages from the Gallery. This session supports Anne Arundel County Public Schools' Goal 1-Academic Achievement as participants Identify objectives to develop an assessment in any of the following subjects: English/Reading/Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. As a result of identifying objectives for creating formative and/or summative assessments teachers will be able to meet the instructional needs of students.


Smart Response: SMART Response: Evaluating Your SMART Response Assessment Results Part 2
This session provides the information that teachers and administrators need to deliver an assessment using SMART Notebook software and SMART Response assessment software including the steps for the students to log in using the clickers. Participants will learn how to start a class, turn on the clickers, start, create, and deliver an assessment as well as how to review assessment results, generate student or class reports, and export results. Also Support AACPS Goal 1.
